Disneyland Paris Itinerary

On the 27th of February I will be going to Disneyland Paris for the first time ever for 4 nights. So I thought it would be nice in the lead up to the trip to do a little Blog series about it, as a way for me to document and remember this trip. I thought the best way to start this off is to share a load down of the trip itinerary. However, this is not set in stone and could changed but this is what we have discussed.

There are 4 of us going on this trip there is me, my boyfriend (Darren), his sister (Kelly) and her boyfriend (Alex). Me and Darren are staying on Disney property at Hotel Cheyenne and Kelly and Alex are staying at the Magic Circus Hotel which is a Disney partner hotel.

MONDAY 27TH FEBRUARY

We probably have a wake up call of about 6am so we can get dropped off to get the train to St Pancras which is at about 7:55am. Once we get to St Pancras which is scheduled to be 8:40am then we'll collect our Eurostar tickets and stock up on food for the journey as well as getting some breakfast. Our Eurostar is at 10:14 with us scheduled to get into Disney for about 14:13.

Once in Disney we will either walk to get the shuttle bus to our hotels, Me and Darren can check in at 3pm but hopefully our room will be ready because we will be there close to 3pm. We will also pick up or pack tickets and our meal plan as well as our room key and making various dining reservations for the week. We have a half board standard dining plan which we will use mainly for dinner during our stay. Once we have checked in and everything is sorted it will be time to meet back up and go to the park. There's no set plan on what rides we are going to go on just see how we feel. We are thinking about eating at the Plaza Gardens which is by Discoveryland which Kelly and Alex have said is really nice and it comes under our dining plan that we have as well. The only other plans we have for this day is to probably visit some shops, watch Dreams and then have a drink somewhere before going to back.

TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY

We plan on doing extra magic hours everyday of our stay so we will probably have an alarm for about half 6 so we can go down to breakfast and get to the park in time for 8am start of extra magic hours.

Then we will go round to the Studios and wait to get in there when it opens at 10am and then spend our day there so we can fully immerse ourselves in Season of the Force which is on whilst we are there. We will probably get food at a quick service place in the Studios. Once we've finished we will either go shopping or go on some more rides in the Disney Park. For dinner we are thinking of eating at Restaurant Des Stars which is in the Studios Production Courtyard, again the only plans we have after this is to watch the Star Wars show on Tower of Terror then have some drinks before going back to our hotels.

WEDNESDAY 1ST MARCH

This day is what we are calling couples day so we are spending it separately but we will probably do extra magic hours and just spend the day doing whatever we want in either park. Once again lunch will probably be at a quick service place and Me and Darren plan on having dinner at the Agrabah Café which is Aladdin themed on the edge of Adventureland. I'm sure we will watch some fireworks not 100% sure yet, just see how we feel on the day.

THURSDAY 2ND MARCH

My birthday day as well as our last full day in the park, hopefully we will be able to get a reservation for Café Mickey's in the Disney Village for breakfast so we can also meet some characters as well as enjoy a nice breakfast that's not at the hotel. After this we will head into the parks and just go on rides and walk around the shops, as usual no set plan and probably get a small lunch at a Quick Service place. For dinner we plan on going to Bistrot Chez Remy in the Studios Park, once again Kelly and Alex have eaten here and highly recommend. Then for the last time this trip we will be watching Wishes which is a very sad thought. After I am hoping to have a Glowtini in the Disneyland Hotel which will hopefully round off a lovely day.

FRIDAY 3RD MARCH

Our last day at Disney and we have no set plan for what is happening just that we need to check out of the hotel by 11am but we will probably do extra magic hours anyway. Have lunch somewhere and absorb as much magic as possible before we get the Eurostar home at 16:52 with us scheduled to be back in London for 18:47, then we will get the train home from London.

I know this itinerary isn't hugely detailed but we plan on just going with the flow in relations in rides and character meets etc, the only planned thing is where we are going to have dinner. Nonetheless, hope you have enjoyed this post, until next time for more Disney content.

Review- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Tour

This weekend I went and watched the tour cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. I’ve not seen this show before but it has been on my list for a long time. I’d only heard one or two songs before so I was going in with no ideas of what it was like and I found it very enjoyable. Background This is based on the true story of 16 year old Jamie New who dreams of being a drag queen as well as wearing a dress to his prom. Throughout the show we see Jamie go through a journey of self discovery which has so many highs and lows. Along the way we meet people who are and aren’t supportive of his dream and how much prejudice he has to contend with. The show first opened on the West End in 2017 and is currently on its second UK tour. Cast The cast of this show were fabulous, unfortunately didn't get to see Ivano Turco play Jamie, Finton Flynn was incredible in those red heels. He portrayed the emotion of playing Jamie perfectly as well showing the young silly ...

Carrie Hope Fletcher Book Signing

Hey Guys On Monday 12th September I attended Carrie Hope Fletcher's book signing for her fiction book On The Other Side at the Glee Club in Birmingham. This is the second time I have met Carrie and once again she was an absolute pleasure to listen too. I attended this event on my own, and I must stay that I think the Glee Club and the Waterstones team planned and hosted the event so well considering there was 350 people that turned up to this event and each one of those people had bought a ticket and a book. We were seated quite early as doors opened at 6 and I was in a seat by 6:30 with the event starting at 7, however there were people who turned up 10 minutes before the event and had to stand up because of all the seats that were taken which gives you an idea of how many people attended this event. Before the signing of the actual books, there was a 40 minute question and answer session with a representative from Waterstones asking Carrie questions about her book, being...

Review: Beauty and the Beast Musical

In March, me and two of my friends went to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney films and I was excited to see what this interpretation had in stall. The fairy-tale was first adapted into the much-loved Disney animated film in 1991 and became a Broadway production in 1993. The show opens with the familiar voice of Angela Lansbury and the enchanting music that we all recognise and with the help of the beautiful rose projection we are transported into the magic. Director Matt West leaves the story exactly how it is, only adding extra bits of comedy here and there which the audience engage with easily. The cast all suit their characters and portray them to perfection. Grace Swaby- Moore, understudy to Courtney Stapleton, was the embodiment of Belle, she captured the innocence of the character and belted the songs to perfection. Shaq Taylor portrayed the Beast will emotion and ferocity when needed. His voice ...
