Friday 3rd March- Last day
This was our last day at Disney but still had an early wake up for our 7am-8am breakfast slot but instead of going straight to the park like previous days we headed back to our hotel room and packed up the last of our stuff and then went to the park where the bus was obviously busier because it was later in the morning and a little kid pushing passed me whilst I tried to put my suitcase on the bus. We went through bag check with our cases and headed round to the storage place and put them in there. We still had a while in the park as our Eurostar was at 4:52. We decided to meet up with Kelly and Alex for lunch about 1 so we had the morning to ourselves. Luckily, we still got to the park for about 9 so we went and waited at the side entrance for Frontierland like we had the previous day to get Big Thunder Mountain Fastpasses which again we were successful in getting.
First ride of the day was the ride that we had consistently been on everyday of our visit and that was Phantom Manor which again I enjoyed. We didn't have much time to wait for our Big Thunder Mountain Fastpasses so we went on that one last time for this trip which I loved again. We then went to see the queue for Indian Jones so Darren could go on it but he decided it was too much of a wait so we went and got a crepe again but in Frontierland this time as we were both quite hungry at this point. After we had eaten we decided to go into Fantasyland and look at the wait times there and we saw that Peter Pan had a 35 minute wait so decided to wait because we had time to kill before meeting the others. I loved Peter Pan it has to be me second favourite ride of the trip, it's one of my favourite films so I find the whole ride completely magical. We got a text saying that Kelly and Alex were in Discoveryland waiting to meet Stitch so we went and saw them quickly but we didn't meet Stitch but Kelly did and she was very happy about this fact. We ate at Casey's Corner and had hot dogs which I thoroughly enjoyed because so many Disney fans rave about it so I had to try it and I was impressed.
Alex really wanted to do the Big Thunder Mesa River Cruise, so we did that and we got some truly amazing pictures. It's a boat that goes around the river of Big Thunder Mountain and it's a lovely way to relax and like I said get some amazing pictures especially of Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor. We had time after this for one last ride and we decided we should finish the holiday how we started it so we went on It's a Small World, unfortunately we found out in the queue for this that an hour before Winnie the Pooh was out in the Studios and we wouldn't have time to investigate so that made Darren sad. Once we went around the world it was time to say Goodbye to the park and the magical castle and head to collect our luggage. Kelly and Alex collected their luggage and went to Disney Village for food whilst me and Darren went to Disneyland Hotel so I could make a purchase from the shop which ended up taking longer than it needed too but I got what I wanted in the end by it pushed us for time that Darren went down and got the luggage whilst I waited.
We made the train in the end but the security and waiting process wasn't as nice as in London and getting on the train was a lot more stressful as we had to wait on the platform and we had more bags than last time. The journey was ok but I just wanted to get back and we arrived into London between half 6-7 and got on a train to Bedford and drove back to Alex's and got pizza when we made it to his.
I had the most magical holiday I cannot put into words how much it meant to me to go to Disneyland Paris it has been a dream ever since I was little, I hope to go back soon I'm constantly looking at when to go back and hopefully in a few years I can make the step up and tackle Walt Disney World who knows. Thank you for reading these posts about my trip.
Until next time
