Ultimate Disney Goals

I've had this list in my head for a while of things I'd love to do that are Disney orientated, kind of Disney goals or a Disney bucket list of sorts. Some of these are more achievable than others but I'd like to think eventually I can do nearly all of these things. They are in no particular order just some things I'd love to do.

1. Visit every Disney park

This is very self explanatory I'd love to have visited all Disney Parks in the world. You have Disneyland California, Walt Disney World Florida, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney, Hong Kong Disney and Tokyo Disney. I have so far only been to Disneyland Paris and hoping in the next couple of years to go to Walt Disney World. I think it would interesting to see how different each park is and also see how they are similar. Be a different way of seeing Disney in each park.

2. Visit Walt Disney World

If I cannot achieve going to every Disney park then I at least want to go to Walt Disney World. My boyfriend's family are looking at going on a Florida holiday in a few years but that would mean staying off site. Therefore I would like to visit Walt Disney World and stay on site and do the whole magic band thing and booking ADRs and Fastpasses and all the detailed planning I see Disney people doing for their visit, I just want to go through all that at least once before life gets to in the way. My dream would be to go for two weeks and stay at Caribbean Beach Resort once the renovations they doing to it finishes.

3. Do a solo Disney Trip

This would be a huge thing for me to do by myself but I'd like to think that one day I can achieve it. It would most likely be to Disneyland Paris but nonetheless I want to experience Disney for myself by myself. When I went to Disneyland Paris for the first time earlier this year I loved the hour and a half that I had to myself just able to wonder freely and do my own thing. If I was to do this would probably only be for 2 nights but it would be a huge confidence booster for myself to do something like this.

4. Stay in all the Disneyland Paris Hotels

Disneyland Paris is a park I will probably go to every year or every two years if I can because I love it and it's more affordable for me therefore I want to try and stay in all the hotels at least once especially the Disneyland Hotel it's just amazing. I have stayed in Hotel Cheyenne so far but looking at going back next year and staying in the other hotels. This is also more achievable because there are only 7 hotels including the Davy Crockett Ranch whereas somewhere like Walt Disney World has so many I'm never going to go back that often to be able to do that.

5. Stay in the Disneyland Hotel

Once again if I cannot achieve staying in the Disneyland Paris hotels then I at least want to stay in the Disneyland Hotel. I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw it, it's just so magical inside and out. I love that it's the entrance to the park just adds something to it and the inside is just beautiful, it smells gorgeous and I love the gift shop there and Café Fantasia. My favourite thing is the Mickey clock on the front of the building it's amazing. This would be a once in a lifetime  opportunity that I hope I get eventually.

6. Visit Disneyland Paris on it's 30th anniversary

Now this is getting ahead of myself since Disneyland Paris has only started celebrating 25 years but I couldn't go so my aim is in 5 years to be able to be there for the 30th anniversary and be apart of that special time, since I missed out this time even though I am able to say I visited DLP in it's 25th year of opening.

7. Go on a Disney Cruise

This really intrigues me because I have never been on a cruise for starters so that would be something new but to do a cruise a Disney way. I think this would be a good way of doing Disney very differently and the fact that you can choose which locations is even better.

Hope you enjoyed this post, until next time

Review- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Tour

This weekend I went and watched the tour cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. I’ve not seen this show before but it has been on my list for a long time. I’d only heard one or two songs before so I was going in with no ideas of what it was like and I found it very enjoyable. Background This is based on the true story of 16 year old Jamie New who dreams of being a drag queen as well as wearing a dress to his prom. Throughout the show we see Jamie go through a journey of self discovery which has so many highs and lows. Along the way we meet people who are and aren’t supportive of his dream and how much prejudice he has to contend with. The show first opened on the West End in 2017 and is currently on its second UK tour. Cast The cast of this show were fabulous, unfortunately didn't get to see Ivano Turco play Jamie, Finton Flynn was incredible in those red heels. He portrayed the emotion of playing Jamie perfectly as well showing the young silly ...

Carrie Hope Fletcher Book Signing

Hey Guys On Monday 12th September I attended Carrie Hope Fletcher's book signing for her fiction book On The Other Side at the Glee Club in Birmingham. This is the second time I have met Carrie and once again she was an absolute pleasure to listen too. I attended this event on my own, and I must stay that I think the Glee Club and the Waterstones team planned and hosted the event so well considering there was 350 people that turned up to this event and each one of those people had bought a ticket and a book. We were seated quite early as doors opened at 6 and I was in a seat by 6:30 with the event starting at 7, however there were people who turned up 10 minutes before the event and had to stand up because of all the seats that were taken which gives you an idea of how many people attended this event. Before the signing of the actual books, there was a 40 minute question and answer session with a representative from Waterstones asking Carrie questions about her book, being...

Review: Beauty and the Beast Musical

In March, me and two of my friends went to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney films and I was excited to see what this interpretation had in stall. The fairy-tale was first adapted into the much-loved Disney animated film in 1991 and became a Broadway production in 1993. The show opens with the familiar voice of Angela Lansbury and the enchanting music that we all recognise and with the help of the beautiful rose projection we are transported into the magic. Director Matt West leaves the story exactly how it is, only adding extra bits of comedy here and there which the audience engage with easily. The cast all suit their characters and portray them to perfection. Grace Swaby- Moore, understudy to Courtney Stapleton, was the embodiment of Belle, she captured the innocence of the character and belted the songs to perfection. Shaq Taylor portrayed the Beast will emotion and ferocity when needed. His voice ...
