One Year of Disney x Pandora

Hello

I know it has been a while since I last did a post but life took over I went on holiday and work has been crazy but I'm back with a new post talking about two of my favourite things and that is Disney and Pandora. This post is in honor of Disney x Pandora collaboration being released one year ago on October 5th.

When it was announced that Disney x Pandora was being released in the UK it was like all my Christmas' had come at once as I previously mentioned I love both of the brands. It has come so far in over a year and is just going from strength to strength in my opinion.

So on October 5th last year I went to my local Pandora and treated myself to what they had relased originally. They first released some Mickey and Minnie charms which were the perfect starter, there was the Cinderella collection and Beauty and the Beast, as well as the petite charms you put in the floating lockets, also was a Mickey Mouse bracelet and Beauty and the Beast bangle. I treated myself to the Mickey Mouse bracelet and Cinderella's dream charm to go with it and because I spent over a certain amount I got the free Disney x Pandora pouch as a gift which was this really lovely soft leather that I still keep inside the box. The day after was mine and my boyfriend's anniversary where he got the Cinderella shoe which is my favourite Cinderella charm. For Chrismas I got the Cinderella dress which is so pretty.

Over time Pandora have just expanded their Disney range and it's incredible we have a Lilo and Stitch bead which my friends were very happy about. We've had a murano charm and dresses for each Disney princess. There's been Frozen beads and Bambi beads. My favourite is also the Winnie the Pooh range which is so adorable, especially hunny pot Pooh I love him. They've expanded the Mickey and Minnie range and included even Donald and Daisy portrait beads which match the Mickey and Minnie ones. They have Disney beads in all the different types of styles that Pandora have. They've got a Mickey Mouse shaped floating locket as well which is so pretty. They've just released an 80th anniversary Snow White collection and a Pinnochio collection.

Coming up they have some Mary Poppins beads which tie in perfectly with the release of Mary Poppins Returns. There is a 90th anniversary Mickey bead coming out to celebrate 90 years of Mickey Mouse. They are releasing Rose Essence versions of the Mickey and Minnie portrait beads which expands that even more. They have proper Disney Chrismas beads. They are also finally bringing out Disney rings which is something I've wanted from the start and I am so glad this is happening. They are releasing a plain Mickey silhouette ring and a Minnie silhouetter ring that can sit on top making them puzzle rings which is another new style Pandora are releasing, which are all being released on the 1st of November. Check these out in their new catalgoues in store.

This range will only go from strength to strength and I'm excited to see where it'll be in another year's time. I love both of these brands and to have them together outside of the Disney parks is amazing.

I hope you enjoyed this post, until next time

Review- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Tour

This weekend I went and watched the tour cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. I’ve not seen this show before but it has been on my list for a long time. I’d only heard one or two songs before so I was going in with no ideas of what it was like and I found it very enjoyable. Background This is based on the true story of 16 year old Jamie New who dreams of being a drag queen as well as wearing a dress to his prom. Throughout the show we see Jamie go through a journey of self discovery which has so many highs and lows. Along the way we meet people who are and aren’t supportive of his dream and how much prejudice he has to contend with. The show first opened on the West End in 2017 and is currently on its second UK tour. Cast The cast of this show were fabulous, unfortunately didn't get to see Ivano Turco play Jamie, Finton Flynn was incredible in those red heels. He portrayed the emotion of playing Jamie perfectly as well showing the young silly ...

Carrie Hope Fletcher Book Signing

Hey Guys On Monday 12th September I attended Carrie Hope Fletcher's book signing for her fiction book On The Other Side at the Glee Club in Birmingham. This is the second time I have met Carrie and once again she was an absolute pleasure to listen too. I attended this event on my own, and I must stay that I think the Glee Club and the Waterstones team planned and hosted the event so well considering there was 350 people that turned up to this event and each one of those people had bought a ticket and a book. We were seated quite early as doors opened at 6 and I was in a seat by 6:30 with the event starting at 7, however there were people who turned up 10 minutes before the event and had to stand up because of all the seats that were taken which gives you an idea of how many people attended this event. Before the signing of the actual books, there was a 40 minute question and answer session with a representative from Waterstones asking Carrie questions about her book, being...

Review: Beauty and the Beast Musical

In March, me and two of my friends went to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney films and I was excited to see what this interpretation had in stall. The fairy-tale was first adapted into the much-loved Disney animated film in 1991 and became a Broadway production in 1993. The show opens with the familiar voice of Angela Lansbury and the enchanting music that we all recognise and with the help of the beautiful rose projection we are transported into the magic. Director Matt West leaves the story exactly how it is, only adding extra bits of comedy here and there which the audience engage with easily. The cast all suit their characters and portray them to perfection. Grace Swaby- Moore, understudy to Courtney Stapleton, was the embodiment of Belle, she captured the innocence of the character and belted the songs to perfection. Shaq Taylor portrayed the Beast will emotion and ferocity when needed. His voice ...
